Data Privacy Notice

 

1) We collect and store personal information regarding your health to provide the best possible plan of care. Without this information we are unable to effectively and safely diagnose or provide a plan of care and as such are unable to provide our services.

 

2) We also collect your contact information so that we can liaise with you on matters relating to your care or to send you appointment reminders and confirm your bookings.

 

3) We have a legal obligation to retain your records for 8 years following your most recent appointment, or until you are 25 years of age, depending on which is longer. After this period records will be retained unless you request their deletion.

 

4) Your information is stored electronically, online using fully GDPR compliant, specialist medical software which is password protected and transmitted and secured securely.

 

5) We do not share this data with 3rd parties unless with your explicit permission and we will never sell or pass on your data, or us it for any purpose other than in that wholly linked to your Chiropractic care. The people with access to your records are as follows:

 

•Your practitioner(s) so that they can provide care.

•Reception staff so that they can organise appointments (they cannot see your medical information)

•Administration staff (they cannot see your medical information)

 

6) You have the right to request to see what personal date of yours we have stored, and you can request that we correct any factual errors it contains.

 

7) If at any point you feel that your personal information is being mishandled, you have the right to complain. You can do this using the following information:
